MODULOC MSE-LT205 Laser Distance Measurement Sensors

The MODULOC MSE-LT205 is provided
with the latest laser measurement technology for precise, reliable and
accurate distance measurement.
The MSE-LT205 is available in 3
different target temperature models. The standard
model MSE-LT205 for measuring targets with temperatures up
to 600°C (1112°F) , the model MSE-LT205HT for measuring targets with
temperatures up to 900°C (1652°F), and the model MSE-LT205VHT for measuring
targets with temperatures up to 1200°C (2192°F).
All of the MSE-LT205
models are
provided with a programmable 4-20mA Analog Output, a programmable
Digital Output, a programmable Offset, a programmable External Trigger
Input.
An RS232 Serial Interface is supplied as standard and an
optional RS422/RS485 Serial Interface is available. The RS485 allows up
to 32 sensors, each with a unique address to be connected in a multi-drop
network arrangement. All of the MSE-LT205 models can also be supplied with a Profibus
Interface, a Profinet Interface, or an Ethernet TCP/IP Interface.
Optional ancillary equipment include an external ProfiBus DP Gateway
Interface Box, an external ProfiBus DP interface box, an external
ProfiNet interface box, an external DeviceNet interface box, an external
Ethernet TCP/IP interface box, an external Ethernet/IP Interface box,
various Junction Boxes, and AC to DC Power Supplies. Also available is
an HMI/Controller that allows connection and communication with one (1)
or two (2) MSE-LT205VHT Laser Distance Measurement Sensors for
programming and displaying of distance measurement, length measurement,
product presence. or product position, and with (2) lasers connected can
be used to calculate and display the width, length or thickness of hot
or cold product.
All of the
MSE-LT205 models are provided in a field proven robust heavy industrial
and mill duty housing along with a horizontal mounting bracket. The
standard housing is supplied without cooling or air purging. Standard
operating temperature without cooling is -20°C (-4°F) to +50°C (122°F).
An optional water cooled jacket can be provided for an operating
temperature up to 100°C (212°F). An optional internal heater can be
provided for low temperature applications down to -40°C (-40°F). Other
accessories include a wall mounting bracket, a gray filter, a front
extension tube with an air purge inlet, a long front extension tube to
limit radiant IR interference, a heat reflective shield, a sun shield
for outdoor applications, a Kevlar heat reflective cover, a vortex
inline air cooling tube, and air filters.
